 Immunization Policy

IMMUNIZATION POLICY

It is a requirement in most Colleges and Universities, that before a student registers for courses on campus, that newly-entering students must provide documentation to Student Health Services of having taken a tuberculin skin test (PPD) within the 12-months period immediately prior to registering at the College or University. This may not be a requirement at some Colleges and Universities. For more information refer to  your school catalog or the Health Services office.

Such proof must be shown on the College or University form provided, or by written documentation from a medical doctor or health clinic.

All students born after December 31, 1956, must provide proof of two doses of immunization against measles, mumps, and rubella. Students may not be allowed to preregister or register without filing, with the health services office, a completed immunization from or a copy of an official immunization record signed by a physician. Questions regarding these policies may be directed to the Health Services Office located in the College or University in question.
